How to get there

From Boa Viagem neighborhood.

  • Go to the shopping center and take the bus #060 Shopping/CDU. It goes inside the campus and passes by in front of CCEN, where Informatics Center is located.

  • If you are not near the shopping center, take the bus #440 CDU/CAX/Boa Viagem in Domingos Ferreira avenue. Get off behind university's campus and ask someone to help you to make your way to CIn.

For other locations consult EMTU website (in portuguese).

About Recife

(*) Description taken from various websites.

Recife is the second largest city in the Northeastern Region of Brazil and one of the most important cultural, economic, political and science-minded city in this region.

Surrounded by rivers and crossed by bridges, Recife is full of islands and mangroves that magnify its geography. It is known as the Brazilian Venice, thanks to its fluvial resemblance with the European city, and is considered one of Brazil's cultural capitals.

The Boa Viagem beach in Recife is one of the most famous urban beaches in Brazil. Visitors get enchanted by the sandy beaches with warm green waters and also by the complete infrastructure of hotels, restaurants and services which surrounds it.
